dem i will only be buying the panda if i do not get accepted to work at bentley as they have their own company car scheme where you get a new car every 6 months, if i am unfortunate at getting a job at bentley then i will be buying a panda.

the grey is not a bad colour, wasn't a fan at first but really liking it now, if i get the money saved in time then i will buy it and if i do manage to work at bentley, i will still keep the panda until i can afford to get insured on something fast like a golf r32. If there are a couple of panda's below 4k now, hopefully in 6 months there should be a few more available for under 4k.

a golf r32?? do you know forum your on??

Well at bentley you can either have seats, audi's, vw's or skoda's as company cars, a golf was an example of a quicker car than the panda, i would only want to go on their car scheme when i can afford the insurance on something as fast as the golf r32.

I've had several cars through the Bentley car scheme and it's certainly the cheapest way to drive a brand new car. The monthly lease isn't too bad but the insurance really pushes the price up. You have to insure them through one of two approved companies and they aren't at all competitive with other insurance companies as they don't apply any discounts.

Not knocking the scheme though, as I say it's definitely the cheapest route to driving brand new car every six months.

Thanks for that info Steve, that is what worries me slightly, Bentley obviously only insure their cars through their approved insurance companies which may prove to be expensive, so if i have my own car for around 3 years, the prices should be reasonable if i decided to have a car through Bentley. Steve, do you work at Bentley?

Yes I'm an engineer at Bentley and that sounds almost exactly what I did. When I first started work at Bentley I owned my own car for a couple of years so I was a bit older when I had my first lease car. Over the past few years I've had Golf GTi's, Seat Leon Cupra's, Audi A3 2.0TFSi's etc and found that although the monthly premium was higher than if I insured the same car with Elephant (for example) if you added the lease to the insurance premium it still was a good deal. I haven't got one at the moment because my mrs insisted on having a Mini Cooper S before we have any kids and rear space/practicality become an issue.
