MY QP Exhaust note...

This is my car, does it sound alright? Just never heard it from outside was concerned it sounded a bit quiet while driving. Seems to sound ok outside though, it’s entirely stock or so it seems. Cold start too.

Seemed to rev limit at 6k tho, is that normal for cold start?

I’m looking for crackles and pops, not volume, seems to have those already just I can’t hear them in the car, not even with the window open.

Did I understand correctly - revving to 6000 rpm after cold start ?? Hopefully I hugely misunderstood you.

6k is the limit in neutral. Actually I thought it was 5k Sort of hope it wasn't cold at that point :D

Well not overnight cold, i’d been tinkering a while earlier and after did a battery reset so it was warmed up just not been on a run. I said cold start for added drama...

Still can’t get that TPMS ECU out....

That does sound very nice. The double glazed windows do take away a lot of the outside noise.
If you have sunroof and all windows open and rev it through even the smallest tunnel or underbridge you will get a good idea of what the volume is outside.
I have 2004 QP and it does rev to limit (7k+) when in neutral.

I prefer QP5s with a deeper more melodic exhaust note, more like the QP 4.7 GTS. For me, that is rather too raspy for a QP5. Have a listen to some YouTube’s of the QP 4.7 GTS

We put on the x-pipe from the Sport GT on a friends -06 Duoselect. It made a significant difference in both start-up and more crackles/pops. Just right and not to loud. Part nr. is 223072 instead of the original 201247. Recommended.
