Nice, looking good. Lol at your lost control comment. Practice in SPORT mode leaving car shows mate and you'll soon get used to a dab of oppo :D

Lovely car Tom, no idea why I like it so much!!

If your car is on the original 2012 tyres (mine is on it's 2013's) it's not fair to blame them: rubber dries out and looses it's mojo. This is specially true on performance tyres such as corsas. I intend to fit new corsas to mine, quite soon as I have nothing left, and fully expect them to perform well. I always imagine Corsa's designed for a Mediterranean climate - dry and warm - and am not surprised they don't work too well in the UK!

I've had mine sideways quite a few times on dry warm roads. 450+ hp and rear wheel drive is another factor though :)

They become impossible to drive at anything under 5 degrees. I went to the Welsh mountains with Conaero earlier this year in sub zero temps and the car tried to spit me into the central reservation at 80 mph.

Dicky drove mine to Chester in December last year and told me that he couldn't go above 60mph on the M6 as the car was moving around so much. I found that the white lines, in particular, gave me some heart in mouth moments. All seems solved by the switch to Michelin although I haven't driven it in very cold temperatures yet. Turn in is better, the front end is less fidgety and I'm more confident getting on the gas earlier coming out of a bend. It's not placebo, it's definitely the case.

That is really interesting and confirms what I feared! Mine is not much better with Bridgestones on the back!!!!

Have you had your geo done, Phil? I'm expecting a huge improvement when I get mine all pointing the right way and at the right angle.

Indeed - see my other post from this morning about my geo which I had done yesterday, an essential job for sure

Are you chaps just going with factory geo settings? Seem to remember posts about some specialist who was good at tailoring each car ?

The factory settings for the Stradale are a good compromise between road and occasional track so I stuck with that

Ok, that does it, I am getting new tyres for Spain, what size do I need for the Strad, and I assume Michelin is the way to go?

Seems to be this eternal inner tyre wall wear thing, can't say I've noticed on my GTS but never looked that hard for it. Am due an alignment soon will get a good look over things then
