Hopefully all the thousands of mostly foreign bikers who were clogging up the A1 yesterday will have arrived at wherever they are going, and won't be in your way.

I'm working most of the weekend Yesterday was a nice sunny day and I managed to put a good few miles on the clock including some on the twisty stuff. It's parked up until Sunday now. Still it gives me something to look forward too. I shall just have to live off the smiles from yesterday until Sunday. All i can say is it was well worth the wait for the right car.

I'm in the North West. Hopefully I will get to some meetings although working 6 days a week doesn't help. Hopefully we can get a summer evening drive meet together for members around the m6 /m60/m62 and m56 areas. I've suggested it on another thread but no uptake as yet.

Another NW member...refugee from Accrington myself, living now in London and Bristol.

Will however be up there next week, Cheshire (see Mr Grace), Accy', Preston, Lancaster, Cumbria then over the Yorkshire moors to Durham and Morpeth...then fly back to civilisation.
