Things is (and normally I’d be taking the **** out of your Barbie and Ken toy ) it’s not worth it with modern stuff. My last M3 was so competent and fast that it’s just not for the road anymore. I’ve just bought a lottery ticket and been thinking about this.

Fwiw, my ‘Barbie and Ken’ toy gave Damo a hard time in his 812. He was marginally faster in a straight line but held me up through the twisty B roads. You may think it’s a ‘toy‘, but there isn’t anything much quicker across country unless it costs at least 5 times what it cost me.
I know that was my point. Cars have got so competent and fast that they’re just insanely unusable, you’re doing 100mph everywhere, it’s just nuts. I’ve come to think the 90s/00s is the sweet spot for reliability, usability and fun.
