Once upon a time, many years ago, I was carrying a Triumph Spitfire gearbox by train from Hounslow, in a sports bag. I left it on the floor (the overhead luggage rack seemed dangerous) and some daft-**** City boy decided to kick it out of the way. It didn't move much. The ensuing conversation was very funny. Well, I thought so.

I did something similar, many moons ago I had two sports bags with 2 crates of beer in each which I was carrying over London Bridge. (was much stronger and fitter then).
And as you do when you walk against the flow you keep to one side to not get knocked all over the place.
However you alway get one tosser who expects you to move. I wasn't going to purely as I had several KG's of beer in each bag.
As we got closer and closer he could tell I wasn't going to move so he thought he'd be clever and knock one of the bags with his shins.
Big mistake. Huge mistake. The scream of pain made everyone on the bridge look at him. I just said "better look where you are going in future" and continued my journey!

Maybe we need to give you a FD shopping list then Adam for when you go to Vegas and see how you get on with your return trip?!

Hmmm.. seems there is more invetigations to be done about the discs/pads... I'll report back when I find the answers I'm looking for. Its clear that 2K+ for brake discs and pads is a bit ridiculous...

Another question for the experts here: I'm loving the look of the Bonnet on the new Stradale :

At first glance it looks like it could be a straight swap from the standard bonnet on my GTS? Has anyone tried this? (yes, there is the £3K issue of the price of said bonnet... but It's tempting based on its fab look alone!) :shy1:
