Looks good, a lot of work I would guess, but worth it. Will the site be easily found by people searching for Maserati Info? I'm not sure how that works.

Yes, if you Google search subjects it should come up. Ahhhh.....actuators. I had a guy ask about accumulators, and hydraulic pressure this morning. Lol....his was 2008 Gallardo though. I will definitely put actuators on that list though.

Sign up for the emails if you'd like I am actually working on Actuators as requested by Conaero. Hopefully I will have it posted by tomorrow.

I like the hint on the SAAB 900 heater core. This should be added to the alternative parts thread.

Saab 9000. Also if you guys want to check out the Actuators subject I posted it. I actually have one I need to take apart I took off a client's car a while ago after replacing it. I'm going to try and get into rebuilding them.

Hi Craig, does anyone know anything about the old classic 3200GT's on your side of the pond..
To keep the last few good ones on the road over here...example, most new 3200 engine components are nearly now non existent!

Dave, unfortunately they wouldn't allow the car into the U.S. because it didn't meet U.S. regs. One of the contentions was the rear tail lights. Very disappointing, but unless the mechanics started on your side of the pond you won't find anyone in the U.S. that knows anything about them. Maybe, save for the people who might of shipped them in another way.

Mark I just updated the F1 Actuator thread with tons of new photos after taking the latest one apart. I'm pretty certain I also narrowed down the failure of these actuators after taking a few apart. I just sent one of the pieces to the machine shop to see if they can make me a better part.

Good work Craig.
Looking forwards to further developments.

Thanks brother, I see you decided to move on. I think that's good. Most people don't realize the reason a lot of time dealerships are bad here in the U.S. is because the Techs train there and then move on to become independents for better pay. I don't know about the rest of the world but they get the majority of the money and don't pay techs that well. When it's all said and done you have to protect your people who run your business.

Before I forget I should also add I will more than likely begin to rebuild F1 actuators. I've taken a few apart and have narrowed the main issues in at least Maseratis down. Seams that Ferraris usually just need the seals replaced. I've paired with a machine shop over here to produce the part I needed that breaks in the Maserati types. If all goes right I should be up and running in a few months. The Machinist is also checking on producing CNC aluminum end caps for the actuators instead of the black "Selespeed" ones. He stated he had artist software in order to put Maserati and Ferrari Marquis on them. I was just going to add my logo but figure most people would just like the actual logos of the cars they drive. It would also easily identify that it's been somewhat modified.
