Hello Chaps!

Very Happy to find this community and hope to contribute something useful over the coming months.

Not yet an owner but looking for a 4.7 MC grandturismo under 30k miles; black &black.
Seen a decent example on Nuvola website @ £51,990 for a 2008 with 28k miles. A little overpriced in my view for the year 08'

Would like your opinions on the price against the year. Thinking about the resale value as I normally keep my cars for under 18 months.

Also, anyone had experience with Nuvola, particularly their Warranty…any good? What are they like to deal with?

Apologies for jumping in straight with advice requests…am looking to purchase within the next 4 weeks.

Thanks in advance!

Nuvola are well respected and the car will be priced at the top end as it will be...at the top end of 2008 cars condition wise.

The GT is keeping its value very well, but keep in mind that the dealers premium will be aprox £5k, so you could loose £10k over the 18 months as long as you keep the miles low.

Big warm welcome Slick......

Nuvola is a well respected Maserati specialist. There stock will be very good indeed but as a London dealer you may pay a bit more. The car you are looking at has I believe been for sale privately and now looks like Nuvola is selling it for the owner maybe. If has a MC Stradale front bumper which will not have been cheap to buy...Find out why the front bumper was changed....The red badges will not be to everyones taste but I don't mind them. Also those slats in the rear bumper are not standard also........

I would also give DIcky Grace a call as he is also well respected on here along with ADG.....Dicky will give you great advice and is worth talking to...

I didn't buy mine off Nuvola in the end as he didn't have what I wanted. But I met him and he was very good. He only really deals in Maseratis and everyone that has dealt with him is full of praise.

I would say all of his cars are correctly priced within the dealer network. Of course you can get them cheaper privately but it won't have been prepped or checked.

Just to say bought my 4200GT from Nareman at Nuvola nearly a year ago 2004 facelift one owner 22k miles the car has been an absolute joy and Nareman chopped in my old Bentley Arnage even though it failed on a minor issue on the mot. Although I suspect he fell in love with it in the summer because Reg didn't change till Nov

Personally I think his business is one of the best I have come across

Hi Slick, and welcome. Nuvola / Nareman are superb and the warranty (mine was with WarrantyWise) was great. No quibbles on anything and the MD just handled the lot. As good as a factory warranty as far as I could tell. If you feel you're paying a shade over the odds at Nuvola be assured that the after-sales and the warranty easily offset.

Happy hunting!

Thanks AdamN. That's reassuring! I guess a good warranty is going to cost around the £1500 mark. Taking that into account and the fact you are buying from a dealer at least gives you greater comeback if there's a problem as opposed to trying to deal with a private seller.

I've heard good and bad reviews about Warranty Wise. never had a warranty with them myself.

Cheers!

Never had to use! My impression is that Nareman is a man of his word and will stick by whatever deal you agree. I was going to buy a Continental GT and was on and off and then the Duchess failed on my drive first time in 4 years (they know don't they.....:) )so had many calls, visits and general interaction with Nareman. He is also ex- It which is one of my businesses so we built rapport.

I work with people not contracts and he isn't going any where and really values his reputation, so I would suspect his warranty is good and better than the average independent dealer.

Hi. I'm a new member and I know Nuvola, and their cars are top notch. They go right over them and only sell good cars. I hope this helps.
