Hello all.
Recently bought a 2005 Quattroporte after pondering long and hard between a 3200 / 4200 / QP / XKR / SL55 AMG Merc (having never had a real 'sporty / classic' car before).
Decided on the QP as I like the idea of four doors and five seats in a big comfy car that is a real wolf in sheeps clothing.
Also came down to availability of a decent car, in good condition, properly described, at a sensible price - but did have to go to London for it (I live near Glasgow!)
Had the car on show at the recent Ayrshire Classics Car Show in Kilmarnock and was invited to put it in the 'Specials' area, which delighted me but ****** off my pal who had suggested I go along and was left with his XJS / SL380 in the 'Private' section.
The car seemed to attract very positive comments and had plenty of people viewing it, which gives a nice boost to your ego!
Looking forward to a few nice runs over the Summer, then have a wee list of things I plan to do to the car over the Winter.
