Hi all,

Those in the area may already know but I've just come across an article stating Maserati have assigned a South Wales dealership to Arrow Automotive and is to be based on Hadfield road, Cardiff.

Unfortunately I know absolutely nothing more than this. If anyone has any further info regarding this (firstly whether it is actually true) I'm sure those of us within reach would appreciate it.

I plan to pay a visit in due course but in the meantime if anyone has anything to add please do.

Cheers

I'll try to find out more and will post all info I find, I'll be in the area soon so will try and visit too.
It'll be another for the list hopefully.

I suppose they will need to extend their reach with the range growing so imagine we could hear of one or two more on top of these.

Hadfield road has a load of dealerships so the place is realistic.

To be continued....

Ru, not heard that but thats is great news. Will pop down myself for a look and see.Hatfield road makes sense with all the dealers thata re down that way. I hope its works out for them as used tolove popping into Dick Lovett down that way but the sales just wasn't there for them but I suppose the difference this time is that Maserati have the popular GT and the more affordable Ghibli in the range.

So why did selling Maserati in the same area not work out for Dick Lovett?

Just not enough customers from what they said to me Pete......Moved everything to Swindon in the end........Now may be different with the wider range and price of cars on offer......

Interesting thought. The old QP sold in tiny numbers after the GranTurismo came out. Given there is some RHD demand in India, it may go special order in the UK.

After a little more digging it appears the opening date will be early December.

I think the decision to open in Cardiff again may partly be down to the vast increase in wages for a squad of now Premiership players half mile away from the site.
If they could get a fraction of the sales Mercedes got when Swansea got promoted then they should do ok.

Wasn't there also talk of an SUV being added to the range too or was that just for the USA?

Looking at the Premier league table I see that Cardiff are currently nestling in a Champions League qualification spot.

I passed the site today. Work is obviously underway, and they have a banner outside advertising for Maserati staff for an 'Autumn' opening.

Autumn sounds better than December.
Will have to keep a closer eye on it in that case.
