Hello to all forum members,I am Mark from Norfolk and have just purchased a 2009 GranTurisimo S with 16k
I am new to Maserati ownership and feeling a little anxious as i normally drive one of the German marques.
I will be looking for an independent to service the car or does the members think a main agent would be best for the car of this age

Hi Mark from Norfolk, warm welcome to the forum. It is by far the best community I have ever come across.
I myself joined the Italian ownership tribe 5months ago, after yrs of various German cars ownership.
So far so good, loads more emotion and anticipation.
I am still trying to decide myself whether to go main dealer or recognised Indy for my maintenance, so I will be following this thread carefully.

Welcome along Mark & you shouldn't be too worried, the GT is a very reliable car for a Maserati at least.
As for servicing, I have been using Marshall in Peterborough who are a main dealer and they have been excellent for me since I bought my GTS last June so you may find them more convenient as they are probably closer for you than any of the indies. They're a sponsor on this forum too
And please post some photos, it's a pre-requisite of joining this forum!

thought so, its still on Autotrader ;-) I was looking at it among other cars but didn't enquire specifically about it. Does it live up to the expectations in terms of wear and tear and condition?

Whereabouts in Norfolk are you? If you fancy showing off your pride and joy, our village car show (Corton) takes place on the 22nd. Nothing too taxing, just a fund raiser for GOSH at a fiver per car entry. I'll be over there and maybe we'll get the Ghibli from Hopton this year too.

I have same recommendation as Stuart and collected mine yesterday from Marshalls Peterborough after a service which it sailed through. Good service and car feels better. More expensive than an independent but made more sense for me. Also they matched a price i got from another dealer whihc save me a trip.
