In honesty I'm currently in the 'it's too loud' phase. I've tied the valves closed and it's *still* loud. The drive back was not entirely pleasant. It'd be fantastic on track, though.

I'll get the valves sorted properly at the weekend, and see how it goes. I might ask you to grab my pipe back from Josh and lob it in the courier for me. Just in case I want to go back. I just can't see how I'd have the valves open (yet)

I'm confused. It's too loud with the Valves closed? It's the same as a GTS setup right? You sure someone hasn't taken the cladding out of the boxes?

I don't think they were properly closed. I've fitted the control kit now, with the vacuum. It still very clearly a V8 and louder than the average car. Whether it's *too* loud will take some more time. I suspect not ;)

With the valves open, though. It's *very* loud. I'm surely in line for an honourable mention in the ASBO hall of fame. Not sure I could ever use it in open mode unless I was on track, or deliberately being a bit of a ****. On the motorway it's not entirely pleasant.

I think it'll take some time and maybe some more fettling. Might try the original x-pipe with the valved boxes.

I saw a barber just a couple of weeks back, I'll have you know! I was in the chair for all of about 3 minutes.

2 minutes 53 was search time ;)
