For sure, the last of the NA M cars!

The V10 with an exhaust mod is as mental as the Maser's we all love. I miss mine, only real car I've regretted selling, the fuel costs were crippling along with a small 50-60 litre tank the range was 180 miles per tank if you were sensible, I emptied the tank in 60 miles once.

Everyone should own or at least experience a V10 M5......

WHS..... best engine I have ever experienced to date......what I noise when wound up.... I do miss it. Nearly bought an M6 a while back but that gearbox & potential reliability & costs just worried me too much.

The best engine I have ever had is a Rolls Royce Trent 800. I've travelled well over a million miles and not a single problem. An awesome piece of engineering.

Ah....fair enough. Different reasons I guess. Note sure a BMW V10 would be good for a million miles. A Merc M119 5.0 V8 would do a million I reckon though. Although mines only done 72k!
