Newbie with a nice Maserati needs tlc :-)

Hello everyone , just acquired my first Maserati , she is awsome but In need of tlc , namely being a water pipe hose leak which I hope to be able to Sr. Myself , just wondering which way I go about it tbh , it's all she needs before I can drive it , any pics and advise would be a really great help she's a 2004 4.2 model so fingers crossed

Welcome. Main dealer are very good for parts and make sure you use the correct red coolant and use distilled water to dilute to 50/50 and you should be fine.

Are you referring to an OAT coolant? My understanding was that the recommended 4200 coolant was Agip Eco Permanent which is a standard Glyco antifreeze (ie: blue).

Certainly have OAT in mine. Although apparently colour is not a hard and fast guide.

From the manual:

Coolant: protective with anti-freeze action, inhibited mono- ethylene glycol based, CUNA NC 956-16.
Recommended AGIP ANTIFREEZE PLUS ECOPERMANENT.

So I hope it was properly drained!
