Good afternoon.
We're happy to announce the successful reproduction an elusive Maserati Biturbo component.
This time, it's the oil sump pan, designed to mirror the original unit.
The inspiration for this project came after an unfortunate incident at the Biturbo 40th anniversary last year when my own oil sump pan met an untimely demise.

Here is the part, cast in aluminium alloy, now available from us at the approximate retail cost of 350 EU including VAT. For UK customers we charge no VAT but shipment and local import VAT are to be taken in account.

Reminded me of when watched a firm “sand cast” an aluminium sump for a vintage Rolls then finished it on a milling machine.

Thank you all for the kind words.
In fact, I broke my 2.24v's pan on exit from the restaurant at the Biturbo 40th anniversary - luckily with no engine damage!
The sump's early demise set this thing in motion

Not quite in this league but we have machined a couple of castings for Lotus IX’s to take BMC diffs, bearings, fancy half shafts and brake backplates. Nothing quite like the tension of watching a cutter plunge into a unique casting….
