Ghibli sales are poor-ipso factor, forget any possible replacements for the GT range and pipe dream Alfieri.

Meanwhile, FCA will bank on Levante and concentrate on Alfa.

Oh dear!

What's annoying is that you don't find, say AM, putting the DB9 out of production for a few years before the DB11 comes along. You just keep it going, increasing the spec and discounts and take the fall in volumes on the chin to keep brand identity out there.

Maserati prefer to stop making their halo cars and can't even agree on when they will stop making them*. What a mess!

*Please insert an alternative line in here if you have proof that they have already stopped**
**The only solution might be for someone to drive down and go on a factory tour.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet, especially if it its from one source!

I would be amazed if Maserati did this. If you read the same story on 5 well known websites, then it could probably be true, but not on a tabloid website like this.

Eh? A number of websites have posted, apparently, after Maserati had a journalists dinner earlier in the week so there must be some truth in this. Whatever view you take it is clear that is a hiatus for some reason....or this is a massive smokescreen and a new coupe is being launched at Detroit or Geneva. Whilst I would love the latter to happen there have been no mules spotted so I am afraid I believe that we will be out of two door Maseratis' for a while.

If the Levante is going to hit the ground running, surely this the mechanism to fund the new GT/Alfieri
