SP95 - E10 which is a mix of 90% SP95 petrol and 10% éthanol

Sort of like Austrian wine, I suspect :)

Correct. SP95-E10 isn't just petrol, it has a 10% ethanol blend in it, which is not good for many components, rubber particularly.

That said, so does Tesco 99 - that's how they get the octane rating.


In France, use either SP95, or SP98 when it's available. Never the 'eco' SP95-E10.
