I know what you mean. It is VDO for the 4200/GS/Fezza, but the body is crimped to the base to resealing looks unlikely. The 3200 one looks quite different from pictures.

The problem is one of cost for OEM parts and ease of fitting as its a bit of a pig. My solution uses an adapter which will make it easy to change in future and uses a readily available alternative part. I thought about a hose, but then it requires brackets and extended wiring which might not be everyones cup of tea.

Also the 3200 sender is at the front of the engine next to the oil filter, an adapter, plus possibly a pipe would need to get past quite a lot to be accessible.

If its M14 then there will probably be a few direct fit alternatives, particularly as it is single wire. 4200 etc is an unusual thread and the warning contact complicate things somewhat. Give me a shout and we can pool resources :)

Will do, I'm back on the 18th. I have mine stripped down on the bench and notes made up re thread and pitch. Resistance was noted too. I just had to check pressure full scale, assuming ECU uses a full scale input.

Can someone please share a picture (not the one from Eurospares, but a real pic) of where the oil pressure sender is located in the engine bay? I have a new one ready to install but I wouldn't know where to look. Would this be a job to be done at home or would a lift or special tools be required?

Thanks,
Danny

3200 Danny? If so it's at the front of the engine next to the oil filter, just to the left of centre if looking at the engine from the front of the car. I'll try and post a picture. It's tight and awkward to get to.

Its the white item - I recall having to take an angle grinder to an old spanner to reduce thickness of jaws that made job easier. My radiator was out at the time being recored so I attacked from front otherwise I belive you have to lower A/C compressor off bracket.
