Agree the wheels just don't look right. Were minilites out in 1966? - I suppose they might have been as the works Coopers had them but even if so they don't belong on an Italian car imho.

Considering the repro originals are widely available , even the GTA rims, they do look a bit odd on an otherwise lovely step-front Alfa, yum!
