Yikes. Someone really, really wanted a GC. Or at least something like it!

Has the proportions of an F type Jaaaag. It the doors are the giveaway. Cleaver really I suppose

The F-type door handles are flush though, I think?

I confess I do think it's quite clever. Horrific, but clever. You'd think for all the effort, though, a Spoons spec 4.2 could be had

Fair play to the owner. Despite not being able to afford an early 4.2 GT or GranCab they've clearly gone out of their way, spending far more on ruining a probably perfectly serviceable Spyder ...

Or more likely restoring a written off one...

Glad to see that this has sparked interest on here It is a 4200 Spyder - I couldn’t take better interior pics.

I think the owner probably got bored of his Spyder getting on a bit with age so decided to freshen it up a bit by adding the GranTurismo bits.

I’m just surprised that the lights and bumpers actually fit on a 4200 and it must have been quite an expensive project that has destroyed an already nice car. I wonder if there are any warning lights on the dash?

Anything will fit with some two be four be two be and some glue.
