Parking Help Unavailable - Granturismo

Hi all, first time messaging, so please be gentle on me :)
Anyhow, got the famous parking help unavailable message, but just before it the front right sensor flashes wildly on the screen, so I'm guessing that ones defunct.
Been reading various threads on here about the Skoda sensors but not really sure if they fit mine, people tend to point to the earlier cars when using them.
So my question is, on a 2013 GranCabrio Sport (early facelift model), what sensors should I be using??
Thanks in advance for any helpful answers

Is it intermittent or a permanent issue? My 2016 Granturismo Sport does this sometimes when it rains and then goes back to working normally in a couple of days

Hi and welcome

I would try squirting it with WD40 first - the damp gets in there and they can become flakey. A good spray of the wonderspray - leave it for a few hours and then see what happens

Cheers all, honestly can't remember if it did it when I picked it up in November or not, haven't really used it since then, bar a couple of trips to give it a run out
I'll wait until it dries out a bit and see what it's up to then, maybe spray some WD40 in it too

Hi
For info, the front sensors are 217832 & rears are 214561. If you search those numbers you'll find a few options & prices. I bought ones that were around £25 I think, I didn't want to risk the £5 Aliexpress ones but the Maserati price is ridiculous.

If they are starting to fail it will show up when the cold damp weather arrives. If its sub zero then they can all be flakey.

If it has just happened spray them with wd40 as devoboy said. Wipe off the excess and they should be fine for 6 months or so before they need another dose of wd40.

The seals break down and allow water ingress.

I had an alfa 159 that did the same and a dose of Wd40 every 6 months kept the gremlims away and that car lived outside all year round.

If the wd40 doesnt work and the sensor has failed it can be a bumper off job to replace the fubar sensor.

Salut
