Passenger window dip function (4200)

I've read all the threads on window problems but not found mine. It did start with it stuck half way down then it whent up now it's stuck up. Any ideas

If it's banging and you can hear motor running, it's main joint where the spring is come apart, the gear on the sissors goes out of sink, there was a thread on maseratie life,I welded a wee bie of ba rod on to the arm for extra strength ,turned bolts round, cosy me 75p for the bolts job done .
The unit out of the alpha Spyder is a straight swop.

No sounds what so ever all I do know is that when the button is pressed in the center counsel I have power going to the window. But no movement at all not even the drop when opening the door.

Sounds like the motor is shot or fuses..

I've been looking for a new window regulator motor I have a price for a second hand origianal part and I've seen several Alfa parts that are cheaper but not sure if they are the right part. Can anyone tell me the Alfa part number or modle that I need. Or should I just get the Maserati part.

Not sure if we ever nailed the part number, but if memory serves it's the number of connections that's the kicker.

The alpha regulator fits, it's the unit with the micro switches attached , sorry don't have the numbers, but chap in Ireland knows his stuff from ebay.

I did this job a while back. If my memory serves me right, I had to split the parts as the alfa regulators worm drive was backwards to the Maserati one. I think I have the remnants in the garage.

Have my new window regulator. Will go for the change over the weekend. Any tips would be welcome. Although there are lots here already.

So it's a nice Saturday afternoon a perfect day to replace my window mechanism. so I take the door card of and familiarise myself with the faulty part to make sure I put the new one back in the corect way. And that's as far as I can go. Who can gues the problem.

So I got a second part. Just to make sure I'm not going mad in this picture to anyone who knows is this the part for the left door I'm holding it up against. I need the drivers side.

But you can just see part of the mechanism if this helps, looks like it fits the door your holding it against to me.

This is how my drivers door is looking at the moment. And it's defanatly for the passenger side. It's been sent back now. And waiting another one.
