Both handle the same and I've lost count how many Classic Minis I've had since passing my test back in 79 in a 850 first time a couple of weeks after my 17th birthday

Had a busy morning cleaning and reassembly but very satisfying to do.
Doing it properly takes time and makes big bills hence why the owner didn't want to do it and I picked it up for scrapping but it's worth saving.

I’m going to assume that the pads ‘welded ’themselves to the discs, post washing..?
Almost unavoidable on rear hand brake shoes on my 4200. ReasonI never use it when it’s parked….
