Been there and did that job back in 2014 when the factory had quite a few in stock then at £1500 a piece.
Trawling the internet sites is probably your best bet.
Good Luck.

Check in with one our sponsors AS Motorsports. He may have knowledge of some stock in Europe or something on his shelves.

What causes these to go?
Lack of use?
That's an interesting question and that would be my thoughts as it's the water pump that leaks and rots the oil pump drive.
Having said that my car had done 90,000 miles but I don't really know how it had been used before it failed.
I was told by Dick Lovetts it's the same pump as the F430.

Agree with the other posters, trawl the Web and call the known specialists.
Alternatively, would it be worthwhile to look into refurbishment? (eg have a machine shop make a good version of the part that's worn) at the current prices (>2k GBP +shipping and duties *if* you find one), this might make financial sense...

I jumped on the opportunity when I needed one of these (other thread) and found that eurospares had 1 left in stock (us spec). The one that was on the engine will be kept, and might be refurbished one day.

That's my plan. Refurb one to be on hand at all times.
