Hi PJM,
I won't comment on the running of it but only on my driving impressions.
I tried the 350BHP petrol one, honestly it was pretty good on all aspects, noise, road holding, driving position etc.... but when I looked at the fuel consumption
I had a Diesel one for a day to service, remap and install the Maxhaust system.
I was pretty disappointed with the performance, pretty sluggish, which spoilt it a bit.
The owner was also disappointed with the same points.
After the remap and the sound system installed it was a completely different car.
The owner was over the moon with it.
So if you're not prepared to remap a Diesel, and don't mind the fuel consumption, then go for the petrol version.
By the way I have a Ghibli Diesel, remapped and the Maxhaust system installed, and no one believes it's a Diesel, even the Maserati techs and salesman who tried it, said it ha nothing to envy the 350 petrol model.
