QP engine control system fault

Hi all,

Just went for a drive and as I pulled up at the lights I get engine control system failure warning on the dash see dealer
as I go to pull away the revs die as though it wants to cut out then splutters back to life when revved hard.
The engine sounds like a diesel when spluttering any ideas ?

I bought an Autel CAN OBD 2 Code Reader Maxi Scan MS309 from Amazon for £14 something.
Received it today, plugged it in reset some old history and it works like a dream
It is small (fits in the glove compartment) simple to use - only 2 buttons so even I can manage that
Of course it will not solve the problem but it does tell you where the faults lay in plain English and a code number.
Golly I spend more than that in the pub, so it must be worth it especially if your main dealer is a distance away as mine is

Still trying to resolve the problem but looking more like a solenoid valve control issue

Anybody else had a similar experience ?
