Over 1000 QP V's sold in the UK and only 22 for sale on PH? Pretty good going.

Filter out the ads that are actually "wanted", new QP trailers, and earlier models, I make it only 18. I recall when I was looking two years ago there were about 40. Certainly not a good time to be looking for one...glad I took the plunge when I did. Not planning on selling :)

See the other thread on the same topic: http://www.sportsmaserati.co.uk/showthread.php/11527

People are hanging onto the best looking QP ever made......Especially now the new one is out.....Not as pretty or a drivers car like the QP V.

Had the new QP been called the 'Royalle' and the Ghibli called the QP Vl the the 2 door shorten version with a V8 Turbo called the Ghibli with the track version called the Cup then I could have got excited but like many I'm distinctly cold on the new 4 doors and love my QP even more. Classic in the making????

I like the look of the Ghibli , but will keep my GT Sport until I get tired of looking at it, driving it & listening to it. Oh & i never get bored of the positive appreciation from Passers by as they say MMMaserati...

You are close on the offers on E class Merc at the moment. c20% off and low finance over 4 years. Old man's car mind!

Agree that the old car is better looking but some of the issue might be that people want to upgrade but are waiting for the new car to be available at two years old at attractive prices?

Reason I suggest this is that the guy who sells a five year old QP might then buy a two year old QP but he is waiting for a used version of the new car?

....would be nice. Offer was or the 220CDi.

I often get the 250 or 350 diesels when my Maser is in for work and they fair fly along.

Power, power and oh wait a minute......oh yes I nearly forgot..more power.
Still doesn't tickle the hairs on the back of your neck though. Mercs and Beemers are good suit shifters but where is the sense of occasion?

So someone wanting power and economy should go for a soot-chucker suit-shifter :)?

Not so sure...went out around the track at Brunty in the C63 AMG Coupe and it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end...Very fast and the noise was amazing....

Seems to remember you describing the C63 as a high speed log.

Bang on Simon. I was left feeling like a well cared for passenger rather than the bloke in charge.
Went to Monza and a couple of days before the GP they had a fleet of C63s doing high speed laps for the punters. Sounded fantastic but looked like a bunch of 'reps' late for work.

Hi Barrie,
thanks for the offer. Many many years ago I had a Jeannaeu Fun (21ft racing boat) and did the dayskipper practical and Yachtmaster theory but then found I got sea sick pretty easily. Up in the North West the tides are a real pain, for a short while I had the boat "Glasson Dock" which only had 1 hr access per 24 hours. Moved it from there to Fleetwood then sailed it single handed to Liverpool. A few months later I sold it.
