QP V 19 inch tyre choices?

What's the consensus on the best tyres for the QP with 19 inch wheels? Currently I have P Zero's but they do tend to tramline a little and can give a kick on white lines. My car is going in for the tie rod recall which apparently includes a full geo set up so as they are a little worn will get them changed first.

thanks

Mine used to kick on white lines like a female dog until McGraths recommended to me that they change the aggressive toe-out Maserati recommend to a more neutral toe. The car has been transformed; it now tracks straight as an arrow and all tram-lining and kicking has gone. P-Zeros too.

It had been so bad that one passenger commented, had he not know better, he thought I was fighting massive FWD torque-steer when I went over the crown of the road to overtake - the steering wheel had been bucking that much. Not any more.

Same as Michael's on mine - P-Zero tyres, and Shiltech changed the toe setting. Like a different car...

Slightly O/T but anyone know the geometry settings to reset it to more neutral ?

Cheers

As above, but does this apply to all model years/wheel sizes or did the factory settings change during the production run? Mine is on 20s.

I don't know if the settings have changed but the original settings do call for quite a bit of toe-out, in other words both wheels pointing in different directions; a bit like duck's feet.

This also EATS the inner edges of the tyres. When I bought mine the fronts seemed to have plenty of meat on them, or so I thought, until we had a closer look on the ramp at McGraths we discovered the inner edges were actually illegal. New tyre time.

With a neutral toe not only does the car track straight but the tyre wear is now more even.

thanks for the feedback, looks like I get another set of the Pirelli's. I mention the geo set up when I speak with the dealer.
