[QP V - 2008] Alarm Pb

Hi,

I have a new problem with my alarm. When i open my car, my alam ring since 20 second and repeat it still 5. I can start engine.
Do you have an idee about it ?

Sure. Close the door and lock it with the key. Now unlock it with the remote See if that fixes it.

What I think has happened is the alarm is arming when the doors are unlocked and vice versa. It's not that uncommon.

Hi,

I have try but it doesn't work.
I noticed that when i close the car with the remote, all the light turn off but not the right mirror light. Only one stay on. An after, the alarm ring. I have open and close the car, all the light turn off but i have still the ring.

I'm nothing special on my dashboard.
But i tested my battery : 12,26V
It seems too low. May be it's the reason ?

Unlikely. I still think it's confused. I was thinking last night, try this.

Car is locked and all doors closed
Press remote control unlock
Wait 5-10 minutes
Open door
(I expect the alarm to sound)
Do NOT close door
Press remote control unlock
(alarm should stop)
Press remote control unlock again
Car door locks will probably bounce.

I *think* (hope?) that will sort it.

If not, I'm pretty sure your alarm is somehow broken

Cheers Voicey! The siren is easy to disconnect. It's behind the left had trim panel in the trunk.

The other side. There are plenty of instructions on how to remove the boot lining, then it's just a case of digging your hand in.

It's possible. The important bit is to make sure the alarm is fully armed and that then it is disarmed, not just silenced:

Press remote control unlock
(alarm should stop)
Press remote control unlock again

But fingers crossed

Hello,

I charged my battery and yet, i resolved all the problem.
I was the battery. When it is at 12.26V, you can have many error, like alarm ,and more.
