Yours looks like the older radio than mine so that is probably why it needs a radio code.

I don't get the point? Thread said it reverts to German then he said battery reset cured but then he posts a pic of the Screen asking for 4 digit code! I'm confused!

Lol.. I'll start again so you understand.

The unit switched to German language for whatever reason
The unit asked for sat nav disc to change language settings which I don't have
I did a battery reset which cured it without putting a sat nav disc but had to put code in
Battery reset disconnect earth lead for 15 mins or more
Someone mentioned they don't need code and others say they do
So I posted a picture of the code screen for my QPV to show what I was on about.

In short I fixed the problem
By disconnecting battery but had to put code in head unit to activate it.
