Forecast is lousy. And it's lashing down now (8am). A pity because it's a great event - just hope inevitable poor attendance won't result in it being cancelled in future. I haven't heard the event has been cancelled this year though.
We are making a weekend of it - hotel booked - so we will be attending the event but I think we'll come as spectators not displayers. (My car has no roof, so we'll come in our (non-Italian) tin top.

Will literally take a rain check on it which will probably involve contacting Martin early afternoon :)

Went there last year, it was sunny on the drive down, torrential rain as I drove into the town centre, parked up and joined Martin for a pie then opened the roof for the rest of the sunny warm evening. Don't let a bit of water put you off!

I agree a "bit" of water but torrential rain! Come on Chris even us hardened northerners draw the line at sitting out admiring Italian metal in the rain!

I think the answer is "feck it" and go to the local pub instead, after the week of dealing with massive cocktards I've had, I cannot wait for my first pint!!!!!

It's lashing down here, but since I'm local and a few friends are going we're still on for going. I was going to wash the car but there's no point! No need to contact me if you're not going but get to the Stable for a pizza or pie for around 7pm if you do.
