Well I thought it was easy!
Seems I was wrong or is it a lack of interest?
I will post the answer this afternoon
I guess you either know it or you don't and clues for this type of Q are difficult to provide
Poor Q?

Not a poor question at all. every now and again we hit a subject that nobody knows anything about. Once the answer is revealed then it's something most of us will store away for future reference.

You have a friend? A real one not a virtual one on here?

Must admit I have no idea about this question it is in the "I don't know & don't think I have ever known" category of my knowledge bank
I did mean a work colleague but he didn't either.

It's a very good question and one we all know now for future reference. Our collective knowledge has increased.

The only Italian car maker I can think of doing daft things back then was DeTomaso but I'm not sure about an F1 connection.

Wow! It was a lucky guess but based on a little knowledge. Ok then, on September 15th there will be a massed take-off of Spitfires from Goodwood. By what name was the aerodrome known during the war and which airfield was it a satellite of?
