Paul Ince came from Man Utd to Liverpool but via Internazionale and Peter Beardsley was at Man Utd before he went to Newcastle although he only played once (I think). Michael Owen went the other way but also not direct.

However Phil Chisnall was transferred direct from Man Utd to Liverpool in 1964 :)

There were a few who played for both teams pre war as well but not sure who and which direction they went.

Sorry lads, went 'walk about' over the weekend.

An easy one for Monday morning - who now plays at the Macron Stadium and what was it called before?

Sad times that so many football clubs give naming rights of their stadiums away to the highest bidders, as if top division football needs any more money thrown at it ...

That would be the home of Bolton Wanderers I believe, formerly the Reebok?

Agreed. I've read that Read Madrid have agreed a deal to rename their stadium to the Abu Dhabi Bernabeu. It's nowhere near Abu Dhabi!

What a shame that would be - I'm a Nottingham Forest Fan and we are all desperately hoping that the City Ground stays just that but I think it only be a matter of time, especially as we are losing millions each season
