I think he makes a fine Felix and was excellent in Boardwalk Empire too

Who was the first British woman to compete in two different sports (not just events) at the Olympic Games?

My suspicion is that would be one of the rowers. I knew a girl who sculled in Sydney having changed sport from taekwondo. Pretty sure she only hit the international scene when she took an oar.
So, one of the rowers turned cyclist? Rebecca Romero?
But that's rather recent past... I expect there's another lady from more than a decade ago.

You are indeed correct sir with Rebecca Romero, at least according to my sources, so it's over to you

Cool, thanks B-)
I knew being an obsessive oarsman in earlier life would pay off. Means I get to pose the forum question for a day.

Music one for you...
How can Beethoven's symphonies be romantic?

Have I been a bit too obscure? Sorry!

So, Beethoven was a Classical period composer. How come they're also Romantic?

I was going to say when they are not Classical, as I know he did both, but that's the sum of my knowledge.

They were reworked in case a full orchestra wasn't available. By whom and for what ensemble?

Was he one of the new romantics? :D

Hehe, I like it but no. The question is literal... someone re-worked all the symphonies during the Romantic period, so they could be played on other instruments. Just have a punt through various Romantic period composers, and then guess the instrument(s).

Classical music not being my strongest of subjects, the only romantic era composer I can think of is Liszt which would make the instrument(s) the piano.
