I think its actually called Pinocchios paradox rather than the Pinocchio parodox. Either way the phrase used is quite specific.

The phrase in question that would create Pinnochios paradox is " My nose will grow now "
Pinnochios nose only grows if he tells a lie. If his nose doesnt grow then he was telling a lie so his nose would grow. His nose having grown means he was telling the truth so his nose should not have grown.

The scenario was thought up by the 11 year old daughter of philospher Peter Eldridge Smith.

I was thinking about this some more, and the fact that "central heating" implies (at least to me) some kind of fossil fuel based system. I also reckon it's more likely to be in a country where there's a big socialist, all for the common good, the state provides all your basic needs kind of mentality.

Therefore, I'm going to guess either Copenhagen, Stockholm, Tallinn, or St Petersburg.
