There's a big gap between Hurst and McDonald and McDonald and Lineker but then again England weren't very good in the 70's. They failed to qualify in two world cups.

Wasn't Defoe the first at the new Wembley and the rest were at the old Wembley.

There was someone in the 80's Blissert or Blisset something like that but i can't quite remember.

Luther Blissett is the missing one! He now races in the Alfa Championship by the way.

Over to you.

I'm busy most of today so here is an easy current affairs questions. Whoever is first in with the answer set the next question.
I wont be around to confirm until later so please just go ahead without me confirming the answer.

What was the name of the England ladies football player who score the own goal during the recent England vs Japan semi final match ?

After Kennedy got topped it was Linden B Johnson that succeeded him and took the U.S. into Vietnam, but I wasn't aware he had an alias.

If you're after a president with a car related name then it must be Gerald Ford. He was the only unelected president. Spiro Anew resigned for some reason, then tricky Dicky resigned over Watergate. Hey presto, he's president. Succeeded by Jimmy Carter, who's still alive, I think.

Don't think I mentioned a car related name?
Nevertheless you are right well done
Born and christened Leslie King (I believe he was a male model at some point)
Changed his name to Gerald Ford (don't know why!)
I am off to the pub shortly so over to you MLC
