How come your not using them Darren ?
The car came with 2 identical sets, discs, pads and wear sensors , don't ask me why, the front discs must weigh 30kg in the box so it's not as if you'd forget they'd been delivered.

One set is being fitted this week but it's unlikely I'll ever need another set

Come on, be a bit more positive. It’s not going to be brokendown all the time.

I am positive, it's going to be great

It was a gamble though

Cat N, non runner, stood for months with no MOT and no key when I first bought it, luckily he found the key

MOT fail was relatively painless, new front brake pipes, discs and pads all round which I already had and a broken rear light but it's just the plastic cover, £44

It came with a boot full of service parts including a new genuine front bumper that just needs painting

Anybody looking for a full set of discs & pads for a 4.4TDV8 Or 5.0 supercharged

Grooved ventilated discs & terrafirma ceramic pads, might be pad wear sensors with them but I'd need to check
£200 collected from Warrington as they're like discs off a truck, far too heavy to post

Almost worth hoping on a ferry to collect but I might have a word with my brother who could collect for me.

£44 is a win. Trying to sort a rear light for my dads Merc as there’s something wrong with the PCB. £250 is the cheapest I’ve found so far.

The light is OK, it's just the plastic cover that goes over it

Try a Ghibli one. Which is known to leak. Glad my MOT tester has a sensible amount of common sense

You all worry too much as an ex tester it's minimum standard at the time of testing.
Worthless really once you've left the testing station.

So did my Dad’s mot guy but the indicator isn’t working at all now and the PCB is in the light which is moulded.

Yeah, that's a bit more serious than water in the lights (which is what the Ghiblis typically do) but that carry on working

If you want them you can have them for £175

The sensors are at the garage with the other set of discs & pads, I'm pretty sure there's 2 complete sets of everything so there should be sensors

It's not worth coming over for them unless you're visiting family , think it cost about £350 per set

The discs are Britpart

thought I was on to a winner re the VED

I'd just assumed it being a post 2006 RR the VED would be £695 but apparently not, I can't tax it because they've not fixed it yet so there's no MOT on it, I thought result, until I saw it's only £20 cheaper, FFS

Replacing the current 3.6-litre V8 turbodiesel unit is a new 309bhp 4.4-litre V8 engine along with a new ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox. Inside it’s allied to steering wheel paddles and a Jaguar-style rotary gear selector.

The new unit uses one large turbo to do the majority of the work, with a smaller turbo cutting in to provide extra assistance. The sequential system, combined with the new gearbox, results in a 20 percent improvement in fuel economy – up to 30.1mpg – and a 15 percent drop in CO2, to 253g/km, removing the Range Rover from the top tax band.
