No one checked whether we had boosters or not when we flew into Toulouse on Saturday. I don’t think the French are bothered. Everything is very relaxed here.
Going anywhere nice?

Americans , still trying to justify why there are more guns in the US than people and how they should keep them
One senator who sounds like the NRA owns him is trying to say schools should only have one door guarded by an armed cop.
That doesn't sound like a great job, standing there all day bored out of your brains until a smiling kid , one of a thousand you've seen that day pulls a gun and blows you away
Every mass shooting sales of ammunition increase substantially in expectation of restrictions
What a ** up country the US is.
Canal du Midi, meant to be flying back on squeezy jet on Sunday, as long as they don’t cancel the flight! I’m hoping I won’t be ranting about them next….Going anywhere nice?
Completely agree, America is so regulated yet they don't know it. You can't buy a Kinder Egg in case you eat the toy, you cannot buy certain French cheeses because of the live bacteria, you can't buy a lot of sudafed in case you start a meth lab. Coffee cups with 'contents hot' labels, wing mirrors with labels saying that 'objects may appear closer'. Wouldn't allow 3200due to the rear lights. Yet you can buy an AR15 with a magazine of 20+ to do want you like. CrazyAmericans , still trying to justify why there are more guns in the US than people and how they should keep them

The only conclusion I can come to is that they (or at least their politicians) are a bunch of m0r0nsI have given up trying to understand the American attitude here, it makes no sense why any person with half a brain can't see cause and effect - maybe that's the point
A TV crew sent a 14 year old kid into 3 separate shops , p0rn, beer & cigarettes, got refused all threeCompletely agree, America is so regulated yet they don't know it. Then the sent him to a gun show where he legally purchased and walked out with a .22 rifle , not an airgun or BB , an actual rifle.
If they want guns because it's written in the Constitution, then let them have single shot muskets, just as the founding fathers intended ( allegedly )The only conclusion I can come to is that they (or at least their politicians) are a bunch of m0r0ns
And to add insult to injury, these latest revelations about the police reaction throws the 'good guys with a gun' argument out of the window...

I do believe that most Americans want better gun control but the endemic corruption within US political system simply won't allow their democratic wishes to take hold.
Editorial: Most Americans want stricter gun laws. Senate Republicans don't seem to care
Even the killing of 19 children and two teachers in a Texas classroom seems unlikely to spur reformwww.latimes.com
Gun laws can be set by a state. CA, for example has very strict laws I am given to understand, so blanket 'democratic wishes' may be a simplistic interpretation
C
Not a very 'United States' then
Realistically how will they ever stop it with millions of guns in private hands.
Only if I fall in!Caravanning but damper
Wasn't this one of the many reasons for the civil war? Federal government overrules state government. It's a federation of states not a confederation.
Like Europe?
