HI all, I am looking for help with sourcing the correct pads for my 2008 QP 4.2 It has drums for the hand brake but each time I order pads they send me the ones for hand brake operated by a calliper, does anyone know what the part number is or even better if someone could supply and or fit them for me, I live in south wales but can travel. Also the handbrake is not holding though I am assured there is plenty of meat left on the shoes, so that also needs sorting.
I would appreciate any help that can offered by the forum.
thanking you all in advance.

So are you needing pads for calipers or shoes for the handbrake?

Hi. Thank you for helping.
I need rear pads for calipers.
OK so the part number is in the screenshot. Google that and you should find cheaper alternatives. Some use ebc red or yellow. Some swear by ds2500 (I think that's the number) some use brembo.

Brembo P50053 is the part number you need for the brake pads, not the shoes for the handbrake.

Hi guys. I now have the brembo pads & fitting kit.
I am now looking for a recommendation for a mechanic that can fit these plus look at the handbrake not holding.(plenty of meat on the shoes) Also I have a noise on start up for a second or so that I need to get sorted as it sounds awful.
I am located in South Wales but I am happy to drive anywhere to someone who is recommended on here so I know I will be getting a good job without being ripped off.

Any decent spanner wielder can do pads. The handbrake could be cables or simply adjustment.

Variators? Big job.
Handbrake is an easy fix.. just needs tweaking through the hub.

Thanks for the info. Any idea on cost for the variations to be done? & anyone that could do it?

I have always found SportsItalia to be good, so do go there if you can, but depending where you are in South Wales, you might want to try migliore cars in Bromsgrove. I've used them and found them knowledgeable, helpful and not overpriced.

PS.
I too have the exceptional joy of driving a 2008 4.2 QP.
Mine happens to have the ZF gearbox and paddles and the standard absolutely delightful personality.
I love it to bits. Its handling is an absolute delight.
Hope you enjoy yours just as much. Drive it often and do keep in touch on the forum.
Do you have any photos of the car you could post?

Sorry about that! Where did you get them from?

The part was for a 2008 4.2 auto, but also fits Granturismo, Grancabs, all qp's

Maranello
Maranello lists all the models for this part.

Can you share an image of the pads?
