Gents, posted this on ML. My rear shock/damper is leaking. I want to get a good used one. The part number on my MY 02 is 182778. The ones that I am finding on eBay with that part number do not look so good. Found some decent looking ones with part number 197912 which looks like they are for MY 03 to 05. The question I have is, are the shocks/dampers interchangeable throughout the years? As for the spring, I will be reusing my FD sport spring. Any input is appreciated!
