No coolant loss, went off the road for the winter...started up in May, red light on??Maybe the airbag ECU is dead if you can't dialogue with the SD3.
It's just under the heater core matrix, thus prone to be soaked with coolant if the heater is leaking. (I suppose it's a 4200 spyder in your profile pic)
No loss of coolant?
4200 Spyder , airbag Ecuador was only thing to check out, big job??Model?

did not reveal where the fault is, only thing we could not check was the ECU, checked all the connections, disconnected both doors, steering wheel air bag, were all good,??That’s the usual culprit yes. Also take the seat multi plugs off and use contact cleaner on them.
SD should tell you where the issue is though?
Hi Allan, don't know which bit of kit it was but suffice to say it was Italian and the real thing, the general opinion it pointed to fault in airbag system somewhere, all the possible bags were isolated and immediately came up on the Leonardo, checked connection under the seats, every thing pointing to the ECU.What were they using to look for the code? That may have a bearing.
