Picked up a set of older 3200 wheels complete with Pilot Sport tyres off Ebay. Wheels were fundamentally sound, but needed a bit of a refurbishment. Stuck them into The Wheel Specialist in Nottingham and got them back a couple of days later. Just under 400 quid for dark chrome finish. This included new valves, tyres refitted and balanced. Cannot rate these guys highly enough, very professional right down to using black balance weights all carefully hidden behind the spokes.

Hate to say it but I prefer the 3200 wheels to the 4200 type.

I thought that too Phil, I wasn't to keen in the beginning and preferred the later wheels but as time goes on I think there getting to be cool..

Like the rear lights, the style is like no other!

My favorite is the spokes as on the Assetto Corsa and Classico but those must be a lot easier to clean :)

Lovely, I was never s fan of those wheels then had them on my 3200 and loved them. Thought they suited the 3200 and as Phil said easy to clean. Also use the Wherl Specialist in Cwmbran by me a number of times and found them excellent.

The later "Max Power" 4200 types are even worse, look like something off a 90's Golf GTI ;)

I go to Greg from the 'Wheel Specialist' in Ellesmere Port, They always do a fantastic job and at a great price too. Richard Grace also uses them so Greg tells me. I can understand why!!
I also prefer the later 7 spoke alloys as they are less fussy and easier to clean the insides (I'll 4th)!!
