Something very elegant and gentlemanly about them. One of the most stylish water craft, so much nicer than the brash white powerboat equivalent.

Stunning things, love them. There used to be a company in the UK building new boats that bore a close resemblance, not a replica as such but their own interpretation, they were lovely and not stupid money. Forget the company name and a quick Google isn't turning anything up, so perhaps they are no more.

Saw a programme on TV about these boats a few years back. I think they are crafted using very old techniques.

Absolutely stunning, and testament to why Italians do it better.

Fabulous Andrew, thanks!
I did not appreciate the size of the craft until I was up close to one in Dartmouth marina earlier this year...
I think I took a couple of close up photos, will try to dig them out,
Regards,
Enzo.

they are amazing, i love a nice boat such as a princess or sunseeker but the riva is the best, it looks like a work of art.

I prefer the 1960-1993 boats prior to the company being sold off...in fact the boats now run on...diesel ,...rather than the twin V8s.

The new boats are still stunning but they are not a patch on the ones from the classic periods as owned by HRH G Kelly, Peter Sellers, the Onasis family

Done a bit of research online there is a club called riva uk and they have a few events, maybe we should contact them and have a dual meet, we can give them trips in our cars and they can take us on the water.
