Roll Bar Bushes

Gents,

Tried to order some new front anti roll bar bushes for my 3200 the other day (386600358) and have been told by Eurospares that they are no longer available..

I have found the Assetto Corsa Rubbers (189935) online (and much cheaper they are too!), however I was under the impression the AC roll bar was thicker so these rubbers would be no use with my standard anti roll bar?

What are my options here? Are there aftermarket rubbers that would fit? or do I need to change the entire anti-roll bar to the AC version?

Cheers

I just fitted an AC ARB to mine and it is thicker.

It's a good job I kept the old rubbers ;)

Hi Phil,

Yes part number 4.

Question.. do you think it's worth going the whole hog and upgrading to the AC ARB? If so where did you get yours from? EuroSpares?

The factory AC front roll bars have been discontinued years ago!

15 Manufacturing made me a reproduction to my spec....The best thing Ive fitted to my 3200GT to date!

I got mine from ppcp (Greg) from the AC which is breaking, I've had a few nice bits from that.

Only paid £85 for the ARB and it transforms the car Mark. Feels very well planted and sure footed in the corners.

Hi Guys,

Hmm.. why is nothing ever straight forward with a Maserati?! :)

I can get the wrong bushes or the wrong ARB.. but not both together!

Need to start looking into Plan B's now..

Phil, are you willing to part with your old rubbers in exchange for pounds sterling? If so were they in a good state when they came off?

Or.. do you think any of these generic bushes might work if I get the right diameter hole? If so.. what diameter is the old ARB?

There are some rubbers for sale on Ebay in good condition so they are out there.

I will have a look through the parts bin later and check if they are there and also the condition of them for you!

Hi Phil,

Care to share the link for the rubbers on eBay because I can't find them listed on there?

Hi Phil,

Thanks for that. Looked for "Roll Bar", "Bushes", etc.. but not "Stabilizer bar"!

All their prices seem to be double the UK retail, so they'd be a definite last resort.

Will wait until I hear back from you.. if yours are no good, could you still maybe take some basic measurements so I might try sourcing some alternatives?

Cheers
