Hi all

I have just come across this site and thought I would join to chat/get tips/give tips/and buy & sell Maserati items.

I purchased my manual facelift 4200 last Christmas and loving every minute (apart from filling it up with petrol)!!

I look forward to chatting with you all (and if anyone knows of a gearstick gator in black with blue stitching up for grabs I would happy to buy)

Regards

Welcome. Your car looks lovely and almost identical to the second one I had.

Hope you visit the forum again and join us at some of the events.

Hi Stuart,

This is a very active forum in terms of events as well as online. It's certainly a great way to enjoy your new car.

I'll be the first. Get an "aaaaaiiiiiichhhhhh pipe" I think I have the spelling correct.

Being from Chester you should understand the dialect. However, if you are not a native from those parts, a H pipe is a great addition to the 4200.

Hahaha!!................To be honest, I like the sound as it is. and the shape of the pipes!! Although the Larini does get the juices flowing!

Thanks Dan/Mark
I already know I made the right decision joining up today and hope to meet up with you all some day at an event or two! It's quite lonely here in Chester, not many mazzers about at all apart from Richard Grace Cars.

Good to see you've found us Stuart, there's at least 15 Maseratis in Chester other than ours, but still not easy to spot.

Thanks both for the warm welcome and compliments, it is very much appreciated. Good to hear there are more of us around Chester! But as you say we are not as obvious as a Fezza or Lambo!
Hope to meet up with you both soon!!

Hi Mark

Forgive my ignorance!! I thought an 'H' pipe was a Larini exhaust, don't quite know how I arrived at that! now looking on youtube I see I was wrong. I assume it is the frontal section of the exhaust system change that gives it a more growly sound. You can tell I haven't really been mixing with many Maserati people!!
And, how much are they about??

An H pipe can be fabricated or bought branded.

Thanks for the info gents............I see what you mean. So hard to choose but I think I would if you twisted my arm I would say the 'H' sounds better, but I think it's going to have to be a Birthday or Christmas present!!
I shall contact BennyD . Thanks again

I like the H pipe, very raw sound.
if I wanted them who do I speak too ?
I have larini on mine which I like too so would have to think about it.
