Hi guys.

I'm coming to that stage where I have to change the rotors and pads for the 2008 4.2 GT.

Any places worth visiting to buy OEM rotors/pads or otherwise?

Thinking Eurospares or Formula Dynamics.

From memory, the front are six piston, back are four piston?

Eurospares have front pattern discs in at £129 ea , am I right in thinking you're in AUS so wouldn't pay the VAT, maserati or FD will be 3-4x that

Brake pads are also mega expensive so EBC yellow stuff are I believe the recommended alternative but they do red and green also

A few years back there were stories of fake EBC products, not sure if that's still the case but I'd only buy from a well respected seller

IIRC the 4.2 front disc is the same size as the rear, both 4 piston. 4.7 has the more expensive front discs with 6 pistons. As well as pattern 4.2 discs I thought Eurospares also did pattern pads?

Thanks so much for the replies.

May go Eurospares discs and FD Carbon kevlar pads

The FD Discs slotted and drilled have also had great feedback as well . Look sensationally too but guessing no one here has gone that option?

Have FD discs, pads, SS lines and racing brake fluid on a GS and it has noticeably sharpened up the braking even on normal roads. Much firmer pedal feel.
