Hi guys. Last week I dropped off the forum donations made in memory of my late son Ryan. They were split equally and given to CLIC Sargent and the Young Oncology Unit (at The Christie hospital). Each cheque was for £394.39 and the remainder was spent on flowers for his funeral in November. I was given a thank you letter by CLIC Sargent and with Matts agreement I will post it here as it is addressed (in spirit) to all of you guys.

As you may know, when a person is diagnosed with cancer, their life changes dramatically and so do the lives of Jose around them. People are affected in many different ways - socially, emotionally and psychologically.
CLIC Sargent tries to help patients and families to cope, focussing on meeting individual needs through a range of services.
Your kind donation will help with the work of CLIC Sargent in Manchester and throughout the UK. Our work supporting families would be impossible without the generosity of the public.
