It looks like mine has sprung a leak, I presume access is via the wheel arch lining?

I got a major shock at the price of a new screen wash tank.....£250 inc vat!!!

I am praying for a piece of SM genius before I start trawling ebay for used,.......as that price is crazy

Ideas welcome

That is very pricey- you would think a “tank” is a “tank” so with a bit of ingenuity you could make something else work

I recently had the same problem. The leak was from a lower seal that had some residue build up and needed cleaning. My mechanic put some silicone as well and it seems fine. I'm told the tank often splits at the seal also. Yes had to remove wheel and the wheel guard Took about 1 HR.

As J S pollo says, the left front wheel needs to come off and then the wheel arch liner (weird carpet stuff) and the tank is behind the front splitter.
The pump is basically just sat on top a notch in the tank and if knocked can become dislodged and release all of its liquid. As I found out in Hamburg! Took an hour to do, to do the above and refit the pump.
