Well, where I live the tap water is very hard and full of calcium which will create scale deposits when heated.
I used demineralized water to dilute my paraflu to prevent this.

It's the same water the wife uses in the iron for the clothes so I assume it to be ok.
I have now read a bit on the subject and it only seems to be a problem when the water is very pure and even then its the subject of a debate.

Exactly - demineralised water is the stuff to use. Pure distilled water is bad news.

If you're able to check it'd be much appreciated.

I'm going to email a guy a grey paul Edinburgh I know from dropping a mates 355 off several times over the years, I've not dealt with them since I bought my GTS but hopefully he'll respond

Comma G48 is your friend. Used it in mine with no apparent adverse affect, plus it was given as the equivalent to me to the Shell product.

Easiest to use RTU .. Ready to use... No mucking about with mixing 50:50... If its too strong or weak the freezing point rises and ability to cool lowers......... Try commaoil website or northsealubricants the 2 we do.... There is a guide to the approved stuff to use on both websites.. Comma can do reg no. Northsea you need to pick vehicle but both draw the spec from the manufacturer recommendations..

Perfect, with you saying that and the fact that 2 seperate websites suggested it when I selected the car type thats good enough for me, that ad the fact that the specs of it read to be correct also.

Thanks for that
