I'm in need of a front shock/damper bump stop. The part number is 189998. Eurospares lists them but they are a bit pricey for what they are especially with shipping to the US. I was wondering if anyone had another source for them. Below are pictures I was able to pull from the internet.

Check with a dealership for price/availability comparison...? Maybe Formula Dynamics has an idea over here in Leftpondia?

Dealership wanted $250+! I will reach out to FD on Monday. If push comes to shove, I will order from it from Eurospares. I was kind of hoping someone had an alternate/cheaper option being that this is something that may have been used throughout the auto world...

Probably...but also not a thing I have had to chase yet. And I am up to my eyelids in sawdust at the moment. Did you look in the "alternative parts" string here...?

There is no way I am putting a Porsche part on my Maserati . £22.43 for Porsche vs £85.03 for Maserati, that is better!

How did you find that? Thank you sir!

I googled it. I find there’s 3 normal parts number formats so based on the number on the bump stop, I tried something like these:
0049 5111 0250
0049.5111.0250
004951110250

Don’t know which one came up the answer.

You are a gentleman and a scholar! I ordered it through Eurospares, I will update.

On a side note, while taking my daughter to her BB game, hit a pothole and blew out the tire. Thankfully I had made spare!

Well, the Porsche bump stop is "Factory back ordered, No ETA" I guess I will have to bit the bullet on order the expensive Maserati one...
